This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The world has changed and we need to adapt.

This is my 11th year as a kindergarten teacher at my school.

I teach 20 kindergarten students in an ICT education classroom at a low-income school in New York City.

They are a great group of kids who are extremely inquisitive and want to learn more. They try hard on a daily basis and want to do well educationally, emotionally and behaviorally. They celebrate their successes and know when they need extra support to help meet their needs.

My Project

In my school, we are required to supply our own copy paper for copies. Copy paper is used on a daily basis and is a vital part of our everyday learning. We use it so often and go through it so quickly.

This is the year that will shape a child's attitude about school and about learning.Making it the most positive and nurturing experience is a way to insure that these children will continue to love learning and strive to do their best in school.

I have requested copy paper, lots and lots of copy paper to help get us through our year of learning!
