My Students

I love my students! I teach a fifth-grade ENL (English as a New Language) class in a Title I school in the lower east side of Manhattan. The demographics of my students are Asian-American and Hispanic. Their levels range from expanding to commanding, and they are all becoming very proficient in the English language.

My students come to school every day filled with energy and excitement about learning.

They are a unique, compassionate, and driven group of curious children who I love providing the most engaging and practical materials to help them reach their highest potential.

My Project

This paper would absolutely greatly benefit my students and their ability to learn and grow. Paper seems so easy to get, but the more work the students are doing, the more paper we need! Of course we recycle and we do our best to not waste ANY paper! (Always print double sided and use scraps for projects!) However, if this project gets funded it will help me keep paper in stock in my classroom for the next couple of years! This truly would be such a help to me and my current and future students!
