MATH Binders 2024-2025: Help Us Get Organized!

Help me give my students binders, pencil pouches, and colorful paper to organize their math work and build strong notetaking and study skills, protractors for geometry lessons, and fun prizes for birthday gifts.

My Project

My students are incredible, thoughtful learners who deserve every tool to succeed as mathematicians in my classroom. Throughout the years, I have experimented with various math notebook styles to help my students keep their notes, homework, and other math work organized. Some notebook styles have proven to be more effective than others.

Using binders will minimize paper waste, making it easier to add or remove sheets while being sturdy enough for daily classroom use.

I am enthusiastic about teaching my students essential organization and note-taking skills that will benefit them not only in math but in other subjects as well. I plan to use cardstock to create dividers for the binders and include pencil pouches with pencils in each binder, ensuring that everyone always has a pencil ready for class.

Additionally, I want to add a fun element by surprising students on their birthdays or half-birthdays (for those born in the summer) with a little treat. This thoughtful gesture aims to make our classroom environment more engaging and to encourage donations.
