Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth graders go to a school that is near thriving neighborhoods. I teach a Dual Language group of students at a Title I school where one hundred percent of our students receive free lunch. Most have perfect attendance and strive to be the best class in the school. My students deserve a positive setting because they are hard workers.

The student population is unique and diverse.

Many of my students face challenges due to economic disadvantages, but that does not keep them from being eager to learn.

My Project

The paper, pencils and erasers will help my students be able to have their own copies of material we go over in the classroom and be ready to take notes. Having copy paper will also allow them to print out their research projects to display for the other classes to see. We will also be able to use the mechanical pencils as prizes and motivation for their hard work. I teach math and reading, and paper, erasers and pencils are basic needs in the classroom.
