Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are starving for a chance at success and the chance to learn the materials printed on this paper!

Walking through the hallways, my students are very school spirited!

We love to cheer each other on and wear our school colors with pride. Seeing their work posted up on the walls is one of their favorite celebrations and they work harder to see their paper posted up for all to see.

My Project

The requested materials will allow the students to function with the basic necessities of paper and folders while preventing illness with the tissues and hand sanitizer. The students will be able to express themselves more, see the readings first hand and be able to mark up the paper for better learning because it will be their own sheet. Also, there will be a lot more topics that will be covered and read because of the access to paper in order to share those resources with the students.

They will be able to take pride in owning their work and supplies at school, even when they don't have very much at home.

It will give them a sense of ownership and responsibility with their paper, which they will learn to steward and take care of.
