My Students

It has become extremely difficult to be able to supply the entire sixth grade with materials needed to teach the lessons. Teaching 450 students in one week is challenging when there is so much for them to learn but are limited with our supplies that can help provide them the education.

My sixth graders are a diverse group of students who are eager to learn new things about themselves through Health Education.

They are curious, excited, and ready to explore everything there is about the human body and how it works from nutrition to mental health.

My Project

The biggest challenge in my classroom is being able to supply students with worksheets. I teach 15 different 6th grade classes in one week, with each class having about 33 students. I am not always allowed to make copies at school due to the large amount that I would need. Therefore I either print one class set that I share with all 15 classes (which students would have to copy the worksheets into their notebooks) or print them myself with my own printer, which is very expensive for me.

Being able to supply my classes with their own worksheets will help them be able to keep the material that they are learning as well as saving time, making extra time for them to learn more.
