I teach at a brand new middle school in Lehi, Utah. I see above 250 students between my seven classes that come every day eager to learn. I want to provide every resource I can to help students reach their full potential.
COVID-19 has been hard on the students and now more than ever we need to encourage these students to re-engage with their fellow students and their learning environment.
Having these resources will allow me to provide the best possible outcomes for their futures.
My Project
Having a second monitor will allow me to more efficiently multitask and be more responsive to my student's needs. I currently work with just a laptop and that makes it hard to work on many things at once. With the extra demands of pandemic teaching this would be a lifesaver.
Having a color printer and scanner in my classroom will allow for me to create more engaging materials to help students recover from the isolation of at home learning and get back to working with others around the classroom.
Technology has been a vital lifeline for students and having some extra Chromebook chargers in the classroom will ensure that no students are left behind.
