My Students

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted my students tremendously. Being that we had to turn to distance learning instead of the normal face to face schooling between teacher and students has been devastating to us all. We are in a rural area and most of my students are from single-parent families where they have no laptops, tablets, or iPads to access I-Ready or any other learning or educational program online. So, therefore, they are in dire need of any type of technology they can get so that they can keep learning while this pandemic has us all at home.

My Project

This laptop will greatly influence a students learning capability by making sure that he/she stays up to date with his/her classmates on online learning activities on I-Ready and other learning activities/programs the teacher assigns to students online during the trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The student will be able to work on and complete his/her online assignments within the comfort of his/her own home and not having to stress or worry about not being able to keep up with his/her fellow classmates who have the needed technology to use.
