My Students

I am fortunate to teach 3, 4 and 5 year-olds with a variety of special needs. With the individualized early interventions that these students receive from our dedicated and creative staff, they have an opportunity to grow, learn and develop.

I strive to have my students' first school experience be positive, productive and fun.

I design engaging activities for my students in order to make their learning meaningful and memorable. By participating in their learning my students are able to show what they know and are able to do.

My Project

By going to Underwood Family Farm our students will have an opportunity to experience a working farm. They will get to meet a farmer, take a ride on a tractor, feed farm animals, and pick seasonal fruits and vegetables. This will be a new opportunity for our students who live in a city and have not been privy to these sort of experiences.

Field trips bring learning to life.

When our preschool students get to have a first-hand experience on a field trip, what they are learning in school becomes fully realized. This is especially true for our students who have special needs.
