Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is the first educational experience for kids! My class is a special education class with a variety of abilities and disabilities.

Preschoolers for All Learners (PALS) is a class where students learn through play.

We have a variety of different activities throughout the day, centered through the idea that kids navigate, problem solve, and learn through their play environment. My class ranges from mild to severe disabilities, and our students enjoy many sensory based play activities.

The items in this project help me target their individualized needs. We need a bigger sand/water table for our class, along with aprons to help us stay dry and clean when painting and water play. Circle time and attendance is important and we are in desperate need of a new pocket chart.
