Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are energetic and creative. They enjoy learning about famous artists like Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso. They have also learned to appreciate modern art in the form of graphic designing.
The resources you provide for my class will support my students in their studies of visual art so that their love for art may continue to grow.
My goals for this project are to support my students in visual arts as they experience painting with acrylic paints on a canvas board, or printing their graphic designs in color. I also want them to experience feeling proud of their accomplishments when they display their artwork for the school community.
My students are special because they are creative thinkers who care about their world and each other. They enjoy bringing happiness to others. Art is one way they can do this.
