My Students

Imagine loving to draw and paint but not having an art teacher to guide you......this is the reality of my students!

Due to some budget cuts, our school does not have a visual arts program.

I am hoping to start an after school club which will allow some students so show their creativity by painting happiness rocks.

Our school motto "I will take care of myself, others and my space" is recited each morning. What better way to take care of others and space than to spread some sunshine and happiness.

BLPCS ROCKS will be spreading some fun and positivity in the community.

My Project

These paints and brushes will allow my students to express themselves and show their creativity. Our school no longer has a visual arts teacher and I would like to start a club to allow students to use their creative abilities. The BLPCS rocks club will foster our school's commitment of taking care of self, others and our space. We would meet to paint the rocks with encouraging messages and then spread them throughout the school community and neighborhood. The painted rocks would hopefully promote a more positive message in the neighborhood or maybe just bring a smile to someone's face.
