Paint, Paper, & Plates!

Help me give my students paint and paper! I am looking to restock our paint supply as this is a very popular center in the Falkener Art Studio! Students in every grade paint regularly!

My Project

The Falkener Art Studio is a TAB-based K-5 art studio where students are working as true artists! The students love to work at the painting center--it has been very popular this year. Our tempera cakes have begun to wear down and have almost disappeared! This project would allow me to replace the most used type of paint at the painting center. K-3 artists primarily use tempera cakes, while the 4th and 5th grade artists use liquid tempera. These students self-serve the paint onto paper plates that they use as their paint palettes. An exciting addition to our painting center would be the multicultural skin tone paints. My students come from diverse backgrounds and this paint would allow them to more easily achieve different skin tones in their paintings. As I said before, the young artists love to paint and this project would enable them to continue to do so! Thank you!
