My Students

Our students are the minds of the future. Furthermore, they come to us from many different backgrounds and needs. Our school is a Title I school with many children who receive a backpack of food for their weekend needs. They come to school eager to learn and are ready for any new challenge.

Our students are full of life and ready for a challenge.

Some students come from families that prepare them for college ready academics and some students need extra support to get them prepared and excited about future opportunities. Regardless of their families and backgrounds, I love the daily challenge to motivate and inspire them to achieve their absolute best!

My Project

All of these materials will help us to transform our 4th and 5th grade classrooms into hands-on science labs. Students will determine the difference from chemical and physical changes, learn about nutrition, human body and multicellular jobs. Teachers will facilitate learning as students run data through CSI crime scenes, measure information to determine who caused the crime. We need all of the materials listed to use for various projects. These materials will be used more than one time across various grade levels. After visiting the Ron Clark Academy and having Starbase come and teach at our school, we need more things to help facilitate hands-on learning more frequently.
