My Project
My students are those students that often get kicked out of public school. They are those students that some deem "difficult". Through hands on experiences, they absolutely SHINE. With this project I plan on teaching them all about food webs and the life of an owl. With the owl pellet dissection, they will get to see exactly what an owl eats.
Hands on experiences are crucial in reaching at risk youth in schools. They learn by doing and sometimes we have to break the traditional school model. When given the opportunities to show what they know through projects and labs, they absolutely blow me away. Help me give them this experience.
