My Project

We are a Title I school with great potential. I love my students and spend most of my out-of-the-classroom time developing projects to enhance their learning and well-being. They face great challenges outside of the classroom. We create a safe, fun, and empowering classroom for our students to thrive in all areas of their life. Our school is located in the inner city with underprivileged families striving for a better life.

I have an adorable classroom of Pre-K students this year.

They are kind, caring, and nice to each other. They help each other and enjoy each other's company. Parents send little items and treats to share with their classmates.

Outdoor learning is a ton of fun. Research shows that in outdoor settings, children are more motivated to work together in groups, which can improve their social skills. They learn to manage conflicts, communicate, and cooperate with their peers in a more effective manner.

These new physical education items are perfect for our outdoor physical movement time. This new equipment includes footballs, an assortment of playground balls, kickballs, and volleyballs.

Bubbles outside go hand and hand with the joys of childhood. It is a unique way to teach science to young kids as they witness the soap and water molecules stretched out, which traps the air inside creating a perfectly round bubble!

Soccer agility training cones will assist with games at outdoor play and are durable and flexible to banging, slamming and roughness.

Fidget tubes are going to be used in play therapy to relieve stress and to help children with ADHD calm down. The hula hoops will boosts cardiovascular fitness.

Lastly, we are requesting cotton candy, sugar/floss, and paper cones to use with our commercial quality cotton candy machine from 7 years ago for a soon to be field day.
