My Students

I have a class of 33 energetic and enthusiastic learners. My students love hands-on lessons where they are able to work together and explore many content areas. They enjoy reading, math, and STEAM lessons. We are a Title 1 school in Santee, California.

Our classroom community and collaborative atmosphere enable the students to dive deeper with their knowledge while learning to listen to the opinions of others.

I strive to provide my students with many interactive opportunities to stretch their thinking.

My Project

Incorporating Ozobot coding robots in the classroom would enable my students to dive into coding and robotics. These robots will provide them with opportunities to experiment with coding and engineering, while practicing problem solving skills. The use of these robots in the classroom would also encourage creativity amongst my students.

My students thrive in collaborative settings where they are fully engaged and have a role in their own success.

The use of Ozobots in the classroom would allow for this type of inquiry learning to occur. STEAM is such an important part of today's classroom learning, and these Ozobots would provide my students with unforgettable classroom experiences in science, engineering, and technology.
