Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are some of our youngest learners. They are enthusiastic, vibrant, and motivated to learn. My students are exceptional. They show that children can do anything they put their minds to. My students develop strong self-esteem, problem-solving skills, social skills, emotional skills, and independence. They love exploration through learning centers and gross motor activity. My students would enjoy having the equipment they can play with outdoors.

Playing outdoors will help my students develop self-confidence, independence, and self-esteem.

Items such as the rainbow parachute and mini bowling will help my students develop social participation and teamwork skills. They will practice skills such as communication, sharing, and dealing with conflict, all while having fun in a low-stress environment. They will also become aware of limits, boundaries, and challenge in their play while playing golf, playing with balls, hopscotch, ring toss, and beanbags. Students need outdoor play. These materials will encourages students to use verbal and non-verbal methods of sharing thoughts and ideas during play which will support them in inventing scenarios from their imagination that enable them to build life skills.
