My Students

We are a Pre-K, blended classroom which means we have a mixture of regular education students and exceptional education students. Our exceptional education and our regular education students play side by side just like any other regular education classroom every day.

My Project

Last year I submitted a fundraiser for outdoor toys such as tricycles, a play house, and ride-in cars. Over the past year they have been well loved by my Pre-K class, a few special education students and the occasional upper grade who would play in our courtyard. The materials we received were perfect for one class and I am so thankful for what I was funded.

However, my district is fully back in person and we now have two Pre-K classrooms using the already limited equipment in our courtyard.

Over the year we have had to discard a few of our toys due to normal wear and tear but now we are at a shortage for outdoor equipment and constantly see children fighting over the materials. This project will help give not only my class, but our other Pre-K classroom, with more toys to learn and grow with outside.
