Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I supervise special education students during recess. They need teacher support during recess to help them function correctly outside. My students are Autistic and going outside can be overstimulating for them. There are a lot of children outside at once so the noise level is high. I'd like to provide my students with outdoor recess items to give them something to do outside besides running around. My students have a hard time engaging with other children so they usually spend their time walking around the schoolyard.

I'd like to provide structured activities for them to do outside to help them engage with their peers and provide them with the sensory activities they need!

I a requesting balls, jump ropes cones, and frisbees so they have structure for their outside playtime.
