My Students

We are Preschool for All Learners (PAL) in the heart of Los Angeles where we mainly serve low income families. Our program serve children with a range of disabilities with both moderate and severe levels of need which include autism, developmental delay, speech and language impairment, intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities. Our children learn best through play in their natural environment surrounded by their peers. Our students need learning experiences, opportunities and appropriate supports to meet their individualized educational program goals, learn new skills and concepts.

My Project

The outdoor picnic tables will be used to facilitate small group centers. My students will be able to use manipulatives, play dough, blocks and many other activities that enhances their fine motor skills along with social emotional development. They will be able to do arts and crafts, coloring and painting activities where they can use their imagination and get creative. These tables will be helpful because we currently do not have a table to work on and we are limited on outdoor activities. My students learn best when we provide them with a variety of learning experiences.
