This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a 4th-grade dual language teacher, I am passionate about creating unique opportunities for my students to thrive academically and socially. My students are curious, eager learners who love hands-on, interactive experiences. They are a diverse group of bilingual learners, full of creativity and determination, who inspire me every day.

This project aims to bring learning outdoors, creating an engaging environment where students can explore, collaborate, and grow.

The JBL PartyBox speaker with a microphone will enhance outdoor activities, encouraging presentations, discussions, and creative storytelling. The yoga mats will support mindfulness exercises, helping students focus and regulate emotions. The Fidget Solar System and Learning Conversation Cubes will spark curiosity about space and facilitate meaningful conversations about social-emotional learning. These tools will create a well-rounded experience, blending academic, physical, and emotional growth.

My goal is to foster an environment where learning goes beyond the classroom walls, allowing my students to connect with nature, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. These experiences will encourage teamwork, creativity, and resilience. Your support will provide these incredible students with resources to broaden their horizons and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Together, we can make outdoor learning a memorable and impactful adventure!
