Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pre-K students engage in learning centers throughout the day in the classroom. I would like to give my students this experience outside in the playground as well. The outdoor learning centers will help my students develop their gross motor skills. Jumping rope, using hula hoops and playing with different sports equipment will support my students in strengthening these skills while having fun.

Developing these gross motor skills will contribute to their well being as well as cognitive development.

Too many children today spend a great deal of time on devices instead of playing outside. Help me provide my children with a love of being outdoors and engaging in physical activities.
