My Project

We are a Title I school with great potential. I love my students and spend most of my out-of-the-classroom time developing projects to enhance their learning and well-being.They face great challenges outside of the classroom. We create a safe, fun, and empowering classroom for our students to thrive in all areas of their life. Our school is located in the inner city with underprivileged families striving for a better life.

I have an adorable classroom of Pre-K students this year.

They are kind, caring, and nice to each other. They help each other and enjoy each other's company. Parents send little items and treats to share with their classmates.

Outdoor learning is a ton of fun. Research shows that In outdoor settings, children are more motivated to work together in groups, which can improve their social skills. They learn to manage conflicts, communicate, and cooperate with their peers in a more effective manner

Playing with blocks and other construction toys is truly more than just play! Children who engage in activities where the toys can be built or constructed in some way will change the way they think – it is powerful.

Building and construction projects certainly stimulate creativity and sharpen crucial skills.

Construction toys and play environments encourage children to ‘think outside the box which will help with their development.
