This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first year teacher setting up my classroom library has been a challenge. Most of furniture is worn out and outdated. My students do not have a warm and welcoming library which makes library time a bit difficult. My children on the spectrum have sensory needs ; sitting in their chairs to look at their books can be hard. These bean bags will keep my students seated in them throughout library time. Two students can use the bean bag while my others enjoy their brand new classroom carpet! Thank you.
