My Project

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and locations. Our class is a Montessori classroom of first through third graders. Our students, traditionally, continue in the same classroom for all three years. In our Montessori classroom, we spend a great deal of time on our rugs for meetings or work time. We have had many of the area rugs in our room for over four years. After COVID, many of my students are more aware of germs and cleanliness. The new rugs will help our room feel safer, warmer and more comfortable while working on the floor. The fossils kits will be a wonderful addition to our shelves as we begin our studies of the Creation of the Universe and the Coming of Life.
