My Project

My students fell in love with The Wild Robot this year. We read it together, experienced every twist and turn, and even watched the movie—laughing, learning, and crying along the way. Now, they are eager to continue Roz’s journey in The Wild Robot Escapes, but we need your help to bring this book to our classroom!

This is my students’ last year in elementary school, and I want them to leave with a love for reading.

Many of them were not excited about novels at the start of the year, but The Wild Robot changed that. They connected with Roz’s story, built deep discussions about survival, friendship, and belonging, and now they are asking for more! Having access to the second book will allow them to continue developing their comprehension, critical thinking, and love for storytelling.

Your support will ensure that my students can experience the power of reading a full series, build their confidence as readers, and leave fifth grade with a lasting love for books. Thank you for helping us keep the adventure going!
