This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have never met a child who did not enjoy at least one aspect of gardening. Whether it was laying the soil or playing in the dirt, planting the seeds, watering, or even weeding, children love being a part of supporting the growth and development of a living thing.

I want to give my students gardening supplies such as gloves so they can truly feel like gardeners and be fully invested in the development of their own garden.

Now that Spring is here, we will engaging in outdoor learning even more. This will include planting and growing our own flowers, and just having some fun with dirt and shovels. Please help me in providing these amazing outdoor learning experiences for my students!
