My Students

I am a first year teacher in a 6:1:1 classroom of 3rd and 4th grade students diagnosed with Autism. My class is part of a bigger program which currently has multiple 6:1:1 classrooms as well as 12:1:1 classroom environments with special needs children.

Our students are primarily visual, auditory, and tactile learners which requires an array of supplies to enrich classroom and school activities.

This spring, myself and another teacher would like to organize a "Spring Family Celebration" for our students and their parents to participate in. This event requires an array of supplies to incorporate a variety of sensory activities to enrich this event.

The items requested will offer the students multi-sensory stations to enrich their "Spring Family Celebration" experience. Each station will represent something associated with spring.

With your generous donation, our school will have the resources to ensure a successful "Spring Family Celebration" that our students and parents can enjoy for years to come!

My Project

This project is intended to fund our school's Inaugural Spring Family Celebration. One of our schools goals is to offer families the opportunity to participate in an activity with their child in school, in order to increase Strong Family-Community Ties. Through this project, our student's will engage in educational activities with their family members by their side. For us to make this possible, we need your help! Our hope is the celebration will take place on a beautiful Spring day outside in the fresh air. There will be several spring themed centers for our students to explore and learn about Spring. We thank you in advance for helping this vision come to life this year and for years to come!
