This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students at our school in Corona, NY, have been working hard all year to R.O.A.R.!

By being Responsible, Organized, Accomplished, & Respectful, classes improved their social skills and earned Tiger Tokens towards our R.O.A.R.

Carnival. Last year was the first year of our program and we secured outside funding for our event but recently learned that we will not have that support this year. Staff members are hoping to create an equally fun and memorable day for our students who have worked with their classmates to demonstrate positive behavior throughout the entire school year through our school-wide P.B.I.S. Program.

Your donation will go towards the purchase of carnival games including a basketball hotshot station, inflatable kickball target, football toss, inflatable bowling, jumbo four-in-a-row game, and limbo game that can be used annually. In addition, this project will provide decorations and photo booth props to create a festive atmosphere and prizes for the students. Our staff members will also utilize their talents to create balloon twisting, face painting, and temporary tattoo stations to provide additional entertainment for our students. The experience will end with a fun popcorn treat for each child.

Help us create a fun, carnival event for our students who have worked hard all year to make positive behavior choices!
