Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Middle school is a time when students' bodies start to change in ways that occasionally catch them unprepared. Students are self-conscious and need a place at school where they can discreetly grab necessities. They should not have to bring hygiene needs or concerns to a nurse or teacher's attention when they can simply get what they need from our cart. All middle school children will benefit from having this cart available at school.

Students can only learn when their basic needs are met.

Middle schoolers are not always aware of how to properly address their personal hygiene.

Having a personal care cart will help us open a conversation about how to properly take care of our bodies. Students will feel more at ease when they know all their needs are met!
