My Students

Our school is a true neighborhood school! Most of our students walk to and from school each day. Our school feels like a huge family helping each other through the challenges that we face.

The majority of students in the school are eligible for free or reduced-priced meals.

We are in need of supplies to enrich their educational experience and nourish their enthusiasm for learning. Our 4th grade class is full of students that will be truly appreciative of your generosity.

My Project

Our pencil sharpener no longer sharpens pencils. Using handheld pencil sharpeners takes too long for fourth grade hands and can be quite messy. A new pencil sharpener will mean the world to our students. In addition, some fourth graders aren't yet able to tell time on an analog clock. Having a digital alarm clock in the classroom enables them to be more independent and keep track of their appointments without having to ask "What time is it?" throughout the day. Finally, the whiteboard markers are invaluable for students as they solve math problems or decode new vocabulary words on whiteboard tables. Whiteboard tables and markers are so much more motivating than scrap paper and pencils.
