Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are ready to explore their creative power. They want guidance and encouragement to discover more opportunities to shine in this world. They will be offered some new performing arts classes where we hope to let engage in some fun and exciting new material.

The students at my school are energetic, vibrant, and eager to experience what life has to offer.

Many of my students have never seen a play or have had little exposure to the creative arts. My students are willing to be challenged and open to raising the bar they have set for themselves.

My Project

Our Theatre class has a classroom that is full of seats that are nailed to the floor! We want a space that we can continually transform to meet the needs of our creative projects. We have been given an unused dance room and need to clean it up and get it ready to use daily and showcase our work. We need the new curtains to cover the mirrors and windows for performances. We will use the cleaning supplies to make this an inviting space every time we need it.

We want to have a space that reflects the endless possibilities of our future.

My students are participating in a Digital Theatre Project with a company from England. They will need cameras and smart devices such as these tablets to make this happen. Help us buy cleaning supplies and other things that keep this room clean, organized, and ready for our ideas.
