My Project

My Pre-K students are the youngest learners in the school. They are having their first experience of the public school system during a time of uncertainty. Working in a Title I school, my students come from low-income homes, with Covid-19 making things even harder for our families. All students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch during the school year. My students have entered my classroom this year with many deficiencies. One being their fine motor skills.

My students deserve the tools necessary to strengthen their fine motor skills.

Magna-Tiles are popular choices for students to pick during free choice time. They build a variety of structures from houses to zoos! With the new specialty sets of Magna-Tiles, our students will be able to use them in new and different ways. They can be used during our units of study, Where We Live, Transportation, Plants and Transformation. With these sets, my students will be able to create a small world of learning and having fun while using their imagination and problem solving skills while they are actually having fun!
