Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I work with wonderful, active Pre-K children in a high-need community. The children love to dance, move, and play instruments on a daily basis.

We currently have old and worn out instruments. We have a portable radio that works when it feels like it and we often listen to the same songs over and over. We really need new materials.

The children have music and movement everyday and can greatly benefit from new instruments, cds, and a new portable stereo. The materials I need will allow the children to express themselves through music and dance.

Your help will ensure that my students will learn how to play instruments and remain physically fit through movement on a daily basis. They will have fun and learn many important things. Thank you for any help you can give!
