it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a group of 8 little preschooler who love the library center in our classroom. They are 3 & 4-year-olds who love books and are beginning to read. I have a variety of books in my classroom but most books are worn down and ready to be discarded. Although, students still enjoy reading them I think it’s time to replenish our little classroom library with new books.
The books I’m requesting are interactive books that will get any child engaged and ready to read.
I have chosen different books that I know our students will love.
Having a library in our classroom is essential to my students development because it allows them to learn new literacy skills and build social skills. My students can learn to read, write, listen, and speak through stories, which helps them learn new words and improve their comprehension. Therefore, it is important for me to have a variety of new and engaging books in our little library.
