Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our supplies are almost gone. We have been using them every day. The school supplies are that we are requesting are for everyday use and necessary for our second grade classroom. Please help our class. Supplies like easel pads, dry erase boards, glues, markers, crayons, and ELA game are ordinary classroom resources, but if a teacher doesn’t have the basics, they can’t spend as much time focusing on student learning.

I think that it is helpful for people to understand that basic supplies aren’t exciting.

But having them means freeing us up to do our best, most student-centered work. We cannot do that if we’re trying to find paper, tape, staples, Kleenex, and such that we need just to get through the day.

We do use our school supplies daily. Thank you so much. We appreciate all your support.
