Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students spend a large part of their day at school. I want to make sure they feel happy and safe at school. I want them to feel that school is their home away from home. I work hard to make sure the classroom is clean, organized, and happy. Our school is very old and in need of renovation. My students don't have a place to store their backpacks. I would like to purchase a backpack cart for my students to store their things.

Keeping their things in the cart will help them focus on learning and also keep our classroom clean and organized.

As a first-grade teacher, I work hard to teach them how to take care of their supplies and to clean up after themselves. I feel that not only is it my job to teach them how to read but also how to be a responsible citizen.
