My Students

The students in this school are from a very underprivileged area. They are dedicated to doing their best so they can go to college. They are all from low-income homes, and all receive free lunch and breakfast. They deserve the same opportunities as every other student. DonorsChoose can help provide them with some of those opportunities that I cannot afford to provide them with on my own. These students are more than capable of anything they set their mind on!

My Project

One of the greatest things about my students, they LOVE to read! There is always a line to the newest books in our library, and I love to be able to get them the newest books. However, I need help providing them with more supplies. This project is all about expanding their love of literature!

My students are the most engaged in reading when we do it as a class.

We currently have some class sets, but these are two that I think my students would really love. The book bins will help to organize our class sets, and other books, for easy access. As our library is growing, we are running out of space. The bookcases requested would really be a wonderful addition to our library!
