My Students
My students are a diverse group of learners who range in age from grades 1 through grades 5. They have all been identified as having additional challenges and so have been placed in a special education environment to better help them access the curriculum as well as receive individualized assistance with both their academic development and their social development.
Many of them have internalized feelings of not being smart or that they do not fit in and so we work hard every day to insure that they feel successful and productive in addition to building their self-confidence.
My Project
Technology continues to advance at such a rapid pace and I want my students to not only be exposed to cutting edge ideas but to also have first hand experience and knowledge of new ways to problem solve.
As a special needs class, my students need to see that the sky is literally the limit as to what their future may hold for them, no matter what personal challenges they face.
We will be able to incorporate the 3Doodlers seamlessly into our math and science curriculum. We can't wait to explore shapes, create new patterns, design machines, and so much more!
