Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our mission is to prepare students for higher learning in a safe, caring, and collaborative atmosphere through a quality learner-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on math, science, engineering, and technology.

The vision at our school is to enable students to succeed in school and in the workplace and to provide an option for students to enter math, science, and engineering careers.

This will lead to students becoming productive and responsible citizens and even Nobel laureates.

Our Core Values:

1. High Expectations: Every student will learn and grow into a successful and productive citizen

2. Dedicated Staff: We do whatever it takes to help our students reach their goals

3. Working Together: Our students, parents, and staff work in SST to create a strong community of success

5. STEM for All: Every student will graduate with a strong understanding and appreciation of STEM and how it connects to the real world

My Project

These ten requested lap desks will help my students who work so much better on the floor get their work done much easier.

As the year has gone on I have seen the need for more floor options for my students.

I have provided many of the flexible seating options myself, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Flexible seating is working wonders for my very busy students. I would love to provide them with a lap desk option to help support their learning especially when we incorporate technology in the classroom. Your donation can help make this happen for my students!
