My Students

My students are simply the best! The one thing that makes our classroom so special is our diversity! We love to celebrate our differences. Every child comes to school each day with different needs, but we all love to learn together. I am so lucky to get to spend my days teaching, learning and laughing with this class! I wish that you could spend a day in our class because I know you would never want to leave. Please consider helping us out. No donation is too small! Thank you!

My Project

My students love using technology to learn. We are a technology rich classroom but have not ventured into the wonderful world of coding. Recently we borrowed the book, Mae Among The Stars. After reading this book I knew I needed it for our own classroom library. This book has inspired my students to pursue their own dreams! Based on a true story, Mae wants to be an astronaut but her teacher tells her she would be better at being a teacher or nurse. BUT Mae’s parents instill in her the importance of working hard and dreaming big! I have so many students interested in computer programming and gaming, this inspired me to take action in my own classroom! I want to support my students dreams by giving them the opportunity to learn more about coding!

This awesome Osmo coding kit will help my students enhance their learning in the digital age and also introduce my students to the amazing world of coding!

Osmo Awbie will allow my first graders more chances to learn through coding while also having fun. I am so excited to be able to support my students dreams!
