Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a brand new teacher at my school and will be my first year teaching 3rd grade! The books I am requesting are all different genres and reading levels to begin building my first classroom library for my students. Classroom libraries are essential to successful teaching and learning. Students who have immediate and ongoing access to engaging books in their classrooms exhibit higher reading achievement and better comprehension. Students love having choice!

By donating to our first ever classroom library, you are aiding student engagement and preparing them for critical thinking skills.

We have a variety from fiction to non fiction and graphic novels to get us started. Anything, even the smallest of contributions is a extremely appreciated.
