Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to purchase present day and historical figure finger puppet magnets for my students to use when they chart how they feel each morning on the classroom Mood Meter. These magnets would serve several purposes.

The finger puppet magnets would increase motivation and participation as the students can choose which finger puppet magnet they would like to use to represent themselves on the Mood Meter which makes the process fun.

We would also have the opportunity to study each famous figure finger puppet to learn more about their contribution to our world which increases student depth-of-knowledge.
