Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our world is always changing. Every day we hear of events that happen all around our world. These events very often lead to changes in our personal beliefs and maybe even changes to the laws by which we must abide. Our students should know and be aware of what's happening in the world today. A major way that they can stay informed is through Times For Kids.

Time For Kids is a weekly newspaper that is specifically geared toward school-age children.

Through this subscription, students will read nonfiction articles about issues and events that currently affect our world every week. Reading these newspapers will familiarize students with nonfiction writing. The challenge is that many students can't afford these subscriptions on their own. Help me avoid passing the costs of this subscription on to our families. Please help us!
