My Students

In a room surrounded by technology and LEGO Mindstorm equipment, my students eagerly enter our classroom engulfed by engineering design. The classroom is designed for exploration through research and learning, via hands-on activities through LEGO Mindstorms. By the end of the year, I want my students to be at the forefront of STEM education.

We are committed to the academic development of our school community through high expectations and comprehensive support.

Each student is creative and skilled in his or her own way, which makes learning that much more special. My students love learning about new ways that support technological advancement through coding and engineering. The school is a welcoming environment that encourages higher-level learning while supporting the students at every step. The school houses over sixteen hundred middle school students, who come from different ethnic backgrounds. In order to strengthen their learning experience, I want my students to utilize all the possible resources I can provide for them.

My Project

My engineers-in-training are amazing designers and there is no limit to their ingenuity and creativity. I am always amazed by the work they produce and their resilience to failure. They are always redesigning and recreating new ideas that make their work that much better. In our LEGO Robotics class, students are now focusing on piecing together their research design project. Students came up with designing a hydrolysis PEM electrolyzer into orbit in order to solve the problem of lack of resources, specifically oxygen, for long periods of time in space. However, part of their research is how they will share their design with others and they need supplies to help them do so. These shirts and iron-on sheets will support their team spirit and allow them to bring what others can't to the table, and that is our school's flair.

I never want to limit a student's creativity or talent by not having certain materials because we know that basic supplies equate to a limitless world of creations!

We need a class set of shirts and iron-on sheets to help us create these LEGO Robotic Team shirts. Simple things help create big designs!
