it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Let's build a new garden for our school. This is a seasonal garden, in which we will plant new vegetables and flowers each academic season, to watch them grow each year. Everything in the garden will be student-lead and driven, and what is produced from the garden will go into making fun food like salsa. The biggest cost to the garden will be the raised garden beds. We have a large communal space we want to fill and eventually once we get the garden finished, add a friendship bench where students and teachers can read books and learn outside.
