This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We live and breathe science and I want to create a love for science in the students I will teach. I am looking forward to making science come alive by having students create roller coasters with the straws which embraces engineering skills.

Creating fun learning opportunities for minority and disadvantaged students unlocks the world of science/ STEM.

Some of the hands on learning opportunities we would be able to partake in is using craft sticks to create cellphone stands; sharpie markers to test their solubility; drawing on water with dry erase markers.
