Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kiddos are learning how to process BIG emotions and they sometimes require a space where they can have a quiet and calming moment in the middle of a busy classroom. A cozy corner for them to feel safe and comforted and where they can express themselves and their emotions.

This space will also provide them with tools they can use to learn and develop their social emotional skills.

The materials I am requesting are soft pillows and stuffed animals to give comfort and calming tools to help them with their social emotional learning and development. I also requested sensory toys that my students can use when they feel that their emotions are too big to handle.

My students and I appreciate all the support. Thank you!
