My Students

My students are gifted 1st graders and benefit from differentiated teaching. They are identified as above grade level in two or more areas, yet they are still young kids, navigating life through their five senses. They love a challenge and they are fully engaged when given the freedom to think creatively.

My Project

My first graders have a lot of questions! "How did the pilgrims catch a turkey? Where did the turkeys live? How did they take the feathers off the turkey?" And THAT was only the beginning of this conversation! It is all day long that they inquire about the world around them.

I am in need of some reliable, easily navigated technology that will serve as a "Classroom Siri".

I usually don't have time to stop what I am doing to answer a curious first grader question. It would be amazing to be able to guide that inquisitive mind to a reliable Chromebook while I continue on with the rest of the class.
